Dawn Hayes (she/her) joined DOVE in 2014, bringing more than 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and development from high profile roles with Father Bill’s & MainSpring and Riverside Community Care. For almost two decades, Dawn was a voiceover artist, actor and the television spokesperson for the MA State Lottery – making her instantly recognizable to many New Englanders. This unique background allows Dawn to bring an enthusiasm to DOVE that helps it fulfill its important mission to promote hope, healing, safety, and social change for those impacted by domestic violence. Outside of her work at DOVE, Dawn is active in local professional organizations such as the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP), where she earned a coveted spot in its Diversity Fellows Program in 2009. A graduate of Emerson College in Boston and a native of New York, Dawn enjoys collector cars, motorcycles, yoga, and long walks with the family dog. She is the proud mother of a son and a daughter and lives with her family on the South Shore of Boston.
