Jessica Cohen

Community Engagement & Events Manager

Jessica Cohen (she/her), a native of the South Shore, joined the DOVE team in June of 2010. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Children and Trauma from Pine Manor College. Upon graduation, Jessica joined the staff of The Second Step, a transitional living program for survivors of domestic violence. From 2004-2010, she held a variety of positions focused on supporting children and families. In learning about the work of other domestic violence service programs, she was struck by the similarities and challenges among residential programs and became determined to support survivors using their voices to inform and guide program and service delivery. In 2010 Jessica joined DOVE as the Director of Residential Services. After nearly 12 years of working with the staff and program participants to craft a supportive environment that promotes honesty, accountability, and growth Jessica has transitioned to her new role, Community Engagement and Events Manager. In this next chapter Jessica hopes to continue to build community in ways that positively impact survivors on their journey towards healing.
