Engage communities and ensure programs and services to end domestic violence!

DOVE is seeking candidates for its Board of Directors.

The role of our Board is vital! In FY 2021, DOVE’s Board successfully ensured continued services for survivors – and employment for all staff – during the public health pandemic. In addition, the Board and Staff developed a Strategic Plan to guide the next 3 years.

DOVE has been working hard, especially over the past year, to strengthen our Racial Equity and Justice/ DEI efforts, to include not only recruiting a more diverse Board of Directors (racially, LGBQT identity, etc.) but also meaningfully engaging the Board in training and gaining a solid understanding of the connections between domestic and sexual violence and oppression in all its forms.

We are actively inviting applications for service on our Board of Directors. In addition to a passion for equity, justice, and ending sexual and domestic violence, we are seeking Board candidates with skills and expertise in the following areas:

  • Communications, Social Media, and Marketing

  • Employment Law and/or Human Resources

  • Finance and Business Management, including Strategic Financial Planning

  • Philanthropy, Fundraising

  • Property Management, Facilities Management; Development/Contractor

  • Strategic Planning

  • Wealth Management

Please consider applying, and/or share this information with others whom you think would be a good fit.
