    Domestic Violence Education and Training Sessions In addition to in-person workshops, DOVE, Inc. offers comprehensive 35-hour training programs twice a year. These trainings are offered to social service providers, advocates, law enforcement, health care workers, clergy, and anyone committed to helping end the cycle of domestic violence. Trainings are complete with expert speakers, videos, and role-plays, and provide a holistic overview of issues related to dating and domestic violence, as well as working with survivors. After you finish payment, you will receive a code in the confirmation message. III. Enter the code in the final question of the registration form to complete the process! Payment Form (Please disregard that it says 'Donation' below; the form is for DV Training payments) Cost: $35/per session ($40 CEUs) or $280 ($320 CEUs) when you register for all 9 sessions. In the payment form below, please enter the total amount for how many trainings you will be attending. For example, you would enter $70 to attend two sessions of the trainings.

    Desiree Patrice Board Vice President, Chief of Integrated Transit Programs (Capital Transformation), MBTA Desiree Patrice is the driving force behind the transformation of transit programs as Chief of Integrated Transit Programs at the MBTA. With over two decades of expertise in construction and civil engineering, she leads a diverse team dedicated to revitalizing the track, signal, and power systems of the Red, Orange, and Green Lines, along with the Mattapan Line. Upgrading these functions to a State of Good Repair requires visioning, strategic planning and large scale project management. Demonstrating leadership marked by humility, persistence, and patience, Desiree inspires her team to tackle and overcome the inherent challenges of their work. She derives immense satisfaction from devising strategies to navigate complex issues. Throughout her tenure at the MBTA, Desiree has showcased her versatility through various roles. Notable projects in her portfolio include the design and management of the Blue Hill Avenue Commuter Rail Station on the Fairmount Line as well as spearheading the agency’s vertical/accessibility initiatives, including the Porter, Harvard, State, and Park Street Vertical Transportation Projects. She also plays a pivotal role in orchestrating many of the Full Access Closures, also known as SURGEs. Furthermore, Desiree oversees the execution of critical projects such as Traction Power and Orange and Red Lines Mainline Signals. Beyond her impactful contributions to transportation, Desiree dedicates herself to serving the community and volunteering at various organizations. Originally from the Commonwealth of Dominica, Desiree holds Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, which is a testament to her commitment to excellence in her field.   • Youth Advocate Summit of 2024 | DOVE

    Youth Advocate Summit Summer 2024 In August, DOVE brought together students from Quincy High, North Quincy High, Fontbonne Academy, and Blue Hill Technical Regional School for the third 4-day summer 2024 training during which the teens learned about healthy relationships and abuse prevention. Students explored topics such as setting boundaries, practicing consent, power and privilege, gender roles and stereotypes, social media literacy, and how to support a friend experiencing an abusive relationship. Each day was filled with presentations, discussions, group work, and peer-to-peer learning. Short-term parent support is also available to support survivors in navigating challenges or concerns that may include: parenting in the context of partner violence child development child behavior discipline, and setting routines Parents interested in support for their children are encouraged to receive services through our Individual Counseling & Advocacy Services. In addition, DOVE offers child & domestic violence specific consultation, training, and workshops to those in fields serving youth. All services are free and confidential.
